Jim Harrington Affectionately known as "The Hairball", Jim originally hails from Idaho Falls, Idaho. He grew up fishing salmon and steelhead on Idaho's Snake River system. In 1984, he moved to The Pacific Northwest and settled in Everett, Washington.

It didn't take long for Jim to discover
the Skykomish River and it's abundant salmon and steelhead runs.
After spending a good number of years learning "The Sky"
and perfecting his techniques, Jim found that he experienced
even greater joy in putting other anglers into their favorite
species. Jim is one of the best steelhead, salmon and sturgeon
fisherman in Washington and his enthusiasm for the sport is unparalleled.
Jim's trademark bellow, "Grab the rod, grab the rod!",
can be heard from quite a distance as he puts yet another client
into a big fish. In October and November, Jim takes a short leave
of absence from his Snohomish County rivers and heads down South
to fish the famous Grays Harbor area rivers. There he guides
clients into the huge salmon that migrate in from the Ocean during
the fall months.
